为提高垂直轴风力发电机(VAWT)的气动性能,提出了一种尾缘双襟翼设计,通过数值模拟分析了不同襟翼偏转角及主动控制策略对VAWT气动性能的影响。分析了上下襟翼的偏转角为30°时,VAWT气动性能得到有效提升,能够适应更广泛的尖速比条件。在此基础上,通过实施主动控制策略进一步提升其气动性能。研究表明:主动控制下的尾缘双襟翼结构可显著增加叶片表面压差、优化叶片表面压力分布以及提升叶片转矩;在研究尖速比范围内的风能利用系数峰值较参考VAWT提升了23.7%。

To enhance the aerodynamic performance of vertical axis wind turbines (VAWT), a novel design featuring double trailing edge flaps is proposed. The impact of varying flap angles and active control strategies on the aerodynamic efficiency of VAWT is examined through numerical simulations. The analysis reveals that an optimal improvement in aerodynamic efficiency is achieved when the upper and lower flaps are set at a 30°angle, which also broadens the operational range of tip speed ratios. Building upon this foundation, further enhancements in aerodynamic performance are achieved by implementing an active control strategy. The findings indicate that actively controlling the double flap structure at the trailing edge can markedly increase the pressure differential across the blade surface, optimize pressure distribution along it, and augment blade torque. Notably, when operating at a tip ratio of 2.33, the peak wind energy utilization coefficient in the range of the study tip ratio increased by 23.7%.
